At Mighty Zebras™ Bio, we’re a team of researchers, clinicians, patient-scientists, and advocates developing the first targeted treatment for Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders and Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (HSD/hEDS).

HSD/hEDS affect an estimated 27.4 million people worldwide, yet patients face misdiagnosis, limited symptom management, and no approved therapies. Our mission is to change that through a breakthrough drug program aimed at the molecular causes of HSD/hEDS, bringing new hope to patients and new tools to physicians.

Mighty Zebras™ Bio gets its name from the medical saying, “When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras.” People with rare disorders are the “zebras”—often overlooked or misdiagnosed. We embrace this identity, advancing science while amplifying patient voices.

Soon, we’ll also launch a Zebra Store, offering products that raise awareness and celebrate the HSD/hEDS community. Together, we’re pushing the boundaries of discovery, care, and advocacy to improve life for millions worldwide.
